Anaerostipes caccae CLB101™ & Long-Term Food Intolerances
Published in Annals of Case Reports, this case study explores the use of the novel butyrate-producing probiotic Anaerostipes caccae CLB101™ in a patient with long-standing food intolerances and digestive symptoms. Over 12 weeks, the patient experienced meaningful improvements in food tolerance and gastrointestinal symptoms alongside notable shifts in key gut microbes. The case highlights the emerging role of butyrate-producing bacteria, microbiome balance, and intestinal barrier health in supporting digestive health and food tolerance.

Boosting Testosterone Naturally in Hashimoto’s
Published in Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine, this case study explores an integrative nutrition approach to supporting hormone health in a male patient with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, gut dysbiosis, and declining testosterone levels. The intervention combined targeted nutrition and gut-supportive strategies with trans-geranylgeraniol supplementation. Over approximately nine weeks of targeted supplementation, total testosterone increased from 224 ng/dL to 413 ng/dL, alongside reported improvements in strength and physical performance. The case highlights the interconnected roles of thyroid health, the gut microbiome, nutrient status, and endocrine function—and the value of taking a whole-body approach to complex hormonal concerns.

Urinary Metabolite Testing & Nutraceutical Support in Menopause
Published in Women’s Health Research, this case study explores an individualized integrative approach to supporting a 61-year-old postmenopausal woman experiencing fatigue, weight gain, mood changes, sleep disturbances, and other menopause-related symptoms. The intervention combined urinary hormone metabolite testing with targeted nutrition, lifestyle strategies, and personalized nutraceutical support. Follow-up testing demonstrated meaningful changes across several hormone metabolites, while the patient reported improvements in mood, energy, memory, hot flashes, night sweats, and overall well-being. The case highlights the potential value of using personalized testing alongside nutrition and lifestyle interventions to help guide a more individualized approach to menopause support.

DIM & PSA Reduction: Supporting Prostate and Hormone Health
Published in Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine, this case study explores the use of diindolylmethane (DIM) as part of a targeted functional medicine approach in a 78-year-old male with rising prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels and declining testosterone. Following the intervention, PSA decreased from 4.6 to 2.4 ng/mL over three months, while total testosterone increased from 436 to 615 ng/dL, alongside improvements in free testosterone. The case highlights the potential relationship between estrogen metabolism, hormonal balance, and prostate health, as well as the role targeted nutraceutical strategies may play in supporting these pathways.

Allulose & Post-Meal Glucose: A Continuous Glucose Monitoring Case Series
Published in Biomedical Journal of Scientific & Technical Research, this case series explores the effects of an allulose-containing gummy on post-meal glucose and glycemic variability in healthy adults using continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). Participants followed a six-day alternating protocol comparing their typical diet with days when the allulose-containing gummy was consumed alongside meals. Across 48 paired meal comparisons, post-meal glucose was significantly lower on gummy days, with an average reduction of 6.9 mg/dL, while within-day glycemic variability was also significantly reduced. The findings offer real-world insight into the potential role of allulose in supporting a healthier post-meal glucose response and more stable glucose patterns.
